Radishes: These are an excellent fiber-rich vegetable. Completely fat free, you will get 30% of you daily vitamin C quotient form radishes. Eat 4 to 5 per day as long as they are in season. Besides being an excellent detox food, radishes also contain phosphorous, magnesium, potassium and iron.

Green salad: Eat a nice salad if you are feeling hunger pangs. The fiber content will fill your tummy and you won't be adding many calories. Perfect. If you eat your salad at the beginning of your meal you will consume less calories when the main dish arrives. Try to get 50g each day.

Figs: Fiber and calcium are the benefits of figs. If you avoid milk and dairy products in your diet, figs will help replace the calcium. Just 1 or 2 daily in your salad or alone will suffice.
